Peonies at UM Arboretum

The University of Michigan Nichols Arboretum has a HUGE field of peonies at the west entrance by the UM hospital. Because of the very warm spring we've been having, the peonies are a couple of weeks ahead of schedule. pics taken Sunday June 3.

The annual 'Shakespeare in the Arboretum' event presents Shakespeare's Love's Labours Lost by the Residential College Players. Production dates are June 9-11, 15-18, 22-25. All shows begin at 6:30 p.m. I highly recommend it!

Past the peony garden and just a little south, is a section called Heathdale - the Julie Norris Post Collection with a wonderful path through the woods and some very nice shrubs with flowers.
