The museum has just recently opened up a new glass facility that is fantastic. They have demonstrations of how they do glass blowing (even encourage you to sign up for classes)

flying Bunny There is a huge hillarious leaping rabbit sculpture in the front lawn of the Toldeo Museum of Art. When I look at it I can't help but think of that weird rabbit from the 2001 cult hit movie Donnie Darko, that has Jake Gyllenhaal. bunnyContext200wC We also went down to the riverfront and went through the COSI center. It was great fun, but unfortunatley my batteries were out of juice so there aren't any pictures. I liked COSI better than the Detroit Science Center, but the DSC has the best IMAX theatre in this region.
